Ceramic Filter
Ceramic Filters utilize piezoelectric ceramic materials to create resonant structures that provide filtering characteristics. They offer a cost-effective solution for applications where the higher performance or tighter tolerances of SAW or Crystal filters are not necessary. Commonly used in the IF stages of consumer electronics like AM/FM radios, televisions, and cordless phones, as well as in some remote control and basic communication circuits. They provide reasonable selectivity and are available in compact through-hole or SMD footprints.
